Asparagus is incredibly delicious and something we love to eat at the beginning of summer.
We eat them steamed, grilled, and in salads – basically in every way we can think of.
This little dish with asparagus wrapped in puff pastry is a delightful summer snack or a tasty side dish for dinner, whether you’re having a barbecue or making any other home-cooked dishes.
Fortunately, they are really easy to make, and in fact, the kids can handle the whole process themselves. It’s actually our daughter Ellen who has been in charge of making these delicious asparagus at our home.
Ingredient notes
Green asparagus – They are available in all supermarkets during the summer.
Puff pastry – I buy the puff pastry rolls available in the refrigerated section of the supermarket. I use about half a roll for this recipe, but you can easily make more if you’re crazy about asparagus.
Sesame seeds – Sesame on top adds that final touch, but you can skip it if you don’t have any at home.
